Reduce Your Risk of Breast Cancer
A mammogram is an x-ray that allows radiologists to analyze breast tissue to determine if there are abnormalities. Mammograms can also detect or find early signs of breast cancer, sometimes before lumps can be felt.
The best way to prevent or minimize the risks of Breast Cancer is to get your screening mammogram every year once reaching the age of 35.
If something abnormal was detected in the initial screening mammogram, your radiologist may have you come back for a diagnostic mammogram to determine if a breast biopsy is needed.

Our Prothesis Boutique, is accredited by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics, & Pedorthics, Inc. offering a large selection of breast prosthesis in different shapes and sizes.

Our Sharon Ewing Walker Mammography Clinic is the only one of its kind in the Big Bend Region, and is recognized as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology (ACR) and accredited by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC).
