May 28th, Friday Fun Fact:
It could be one of the most active construction locations in Northwest Florida, if not the entire State of Florida, and it is in your backyard. Currently, three separate construction projects, involving three different companies, are rising above the 81.4 acres to the east of the main campus. The projects include:
- Tallahassee Community College’s Ghazvini Center for Health Education – 85,000 square feet
- Red Hills Surgical Center – 17,000 square feet
- Tallahassee Memorial Cancer Center – 54,412 square feet
In all, 156,412 square feet of steel, concrete, drywall and paint are changing the face of our campus, increasing access to health care for our community, and employing hundreds of construction workers.
