This five-week course will cover stages of labor, positions during labor, breathing and pushing techniques, medication options, anatomy of pregnancy, nutrition, vaginal and cesarean deliveries, postpartum care and breastfeeding information. A tour of the Women’s Pavilion is included in this class.

The Gift of Motherhood E-learning Childbirth Education Program is an alternative for those who cannot attend a conventional childbirth class due to bed rest, scheduling conflicts or time constraints. The online class is an interactive, web-based program that includes animated illustrations, videos and hospital information. A live class may also be scheduled along with this program for breathing and positioning with a childbirth instructor.

The CPR for Family and Friends awareness program is modular and teaches rescuers skills in CPR, relief from choking and basic first aid. This course presents information on the American Heart Association pediatric, infant and child Chain of Survival, signs of choking in infants and children, how to reduce the risk of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) and prevention of the most common fatal injuries in infants and children.

This is a great course for siblings-to-be. Designed for ages 3-7, this course will teach a child what to expect when the new baby arrives and ways he/she can help with the new baby. The children will watch a video, make a birthday card for the new baby and receive a Big Brother or Big Sister t-shirt, coloring book and class certificate.

Join our support group and weigh-in every Tuesday and Thursday from 10:30AM-12:00PM. Our dedicated lactation staff will be on hand to assist you with your breastfeeding and postpartum needs. This is also a great way to socialize with other new mothers.
Free Babysitter's Training
Designed for ages 11-14, this course provides instruction in infant and child growth and development, feeding, diapering, dressing, bathing, age appropriate activities, positive discipline, home safety, first aid, signs of choking, responsibilities of being a caregiver, communication with parents and the importance of job skills.
