What inspired you to become a physician?
Father was a preacher. Spent many hours in hospital. Knew by age 5 that I wanted to be an MD.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
Family, mission work in Brazilian jungles.

Punctual, friendly, teacher
In your opinion, what’s the most important factor in a doctor-patient relationship?
What do you find most encouraging about the work you do?
Changing lives for the better.
Do you have any advice for the patients who see you?
Be open to medical studies. Ignore the non medical on the internet.
What about your line of work do you find most rewarding and why?
Building relationships with whole families. Being a role model to those still formulating who they are.
What’s your proudest moment as a doctor?
First delivery. First successful code. First patient who went into medicine to help others.
What can your patients expect from you as their doctor?
Listening first. Teaching next.
Is there anything more or extra you would like prospective patients to know about you?
I am a family man. I want my patients treated like family.
Do you have any specific medical interests?
Medical mission work, diabetes, children/adolescents in family setting.
