Dr. Adia Adkins, originally from South Brunswick, New Jersey earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Florida A&M University College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences in Tallahassee, FL in 2018. During her time in pharmacy school, she held many leadership positions and was actively involved in several organizations to include APhA-ASP, FPA, SNPhA and ASHP-SSHP. Her professional interests include cardiology, diabetes and medication safety. Upon completion of her PGY1 Dr. Adkins plans to pursue employment in a hospital setting transitioning long-term to public health within the government or industry.
Dr. Jennifer Kight is originally from Jacksonville, Florida. In 2014, she received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL. In 2018 she earned her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Florida College of Pharmacy. As a pharmacy student, she was a member ASHP, FPA, APhA-ASP and FSHP. In addition, she is published in the Journal of Clinical Pharmacology. Dr. Kight’s professional interest include internal medicine and ambulatory care. Upon completion of her PGY1, she plans to work in a clinical setting on an interdisciplinary team providing patient centered care and serving as a mentor and/or preceptor to pharmacy students.
Dr. Jordan Williams was born and raised in Lake City, Florida. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL in 2018. During pharmacy school, she served in many leadership roles. She was also involved in several organizations including ASHP, NCPA and APA-ASP. Dr. Williams professional interests are pediatrics and internal medicine. After completing her PGY1, Dr. Williams plans to pursue a PGY2 and board certification with a long-term goal of working as a clinical pharmacist and contributing to the growth of aspiring pharmacist didactically or in a practice setting.
Katlynn Alumbaugh, PharmD
After completing the residency Dr. Katlynn Alumbaugh moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota where she accepted a position as a Clinical Pharmacist at Abbott Northwestern Regions.
Lauren Halavonich, PharmD
Dr. Lauren Halavonich is continuing on her path to specialize in psychiatry. After completing the residency she relocated to South Carolina where she matched with Medical University of South Carolina for a PGY2 in Psychiatry.
Ryan Johnson, PharmD
Dr. Ryan Johnson accepted a position as a clinical staff pharmacist at Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare where he completed his PGY1.
