Katlynn Alumbaugh PharmDKatlynn Alumbaugh, PharmD

Katlynn graduated in May 2017 from Florida Agriculture and Mechanical University College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences in Tallahassee, Florida.  Her interests include pediatrics, cardiology and oncology.  After completing the residency, Katlynn plans to work as a clinical pharmacist in a hospital setting.  She has always had a desire for administration and leadership and ultimately aspires to be a Director of Pharmacy in an institutional setting.

Lauren Halavonich PharmDLauren Halavonich, PharmD

Lauren is a graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina.  She graduated in May of 2017.  Lauren’s interests include psychiatry and behavioral health.  Lauren is considering several paths after completing the residency one of which includes a PGY2 in Psychiatry.  She also desires to be involved with a pharmacy school as either a preceptor or adjunct professor. 

Ryan Johnson PharmDRyan Johnson, PharmD

Ryan is a 2017 graduate of Florida Agriculture and Mechanical University College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences.  His interests are internal medicine, infectious disease and emergency medicine.  Ryan plans to become board certified after completing the residency and work as a clinical pharmacist.  Ryan also plans to continue refining his administrative skills with the intent of working in pharmacy administration.

2016-2017 Pharmacy Resident
Genet graduated in May 2016 from Florida Agriculture and Mechanical University College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences in Tallahassee, Florida.  After completing the residency program, Genet moved to New Orleans, LA where she will seek employment as a clinical pharmacist in the acute care setting.

Della MitchellDella Mitchell, PharmD

2016-2017 Pharmacy Resident
Della is a graduate of Florida Agriculture and Mechanical University College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences in Tallahassee, Florida. She graduated in 2014. Della will be completing a PGY2 in Pharmacy Administration at Ascension Health in St. Louis, MO where she will move forward with pursuing her career with the Center of Disease Control or Food and Drug Administration.

Joeanna SamsJoeanna Sams, PharmD

2016-2017 Pharmacy Resident
Joeanna graduated from the University of Georgia in 2016. After completing the program, Joeanna accepted a position as a Clinical Pharmacist in Critical Care at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Georgia.

TylerBryantTyler Bryant, PharmD

2015-2016 Pharmacy Resident
Tyler graduated from Mercer University College of Pharmacy in Atlanta, Georgia. After completing the residency program, Tyler accepted a position as a Clinical Pharmacist at Kroger in Atlanta, GA.  Tyler will also remain on as a flex Clinical Staff Pharmacist at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare.

Sarah is a graduate of the University of Florida College Of Pharmacy in Gainesville, Florida. Sarah will be completing a PGY2 in Infectious Diseases at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, California.

Andrew is a graduate of Florida A&M University College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences.  He will be furthering his education by attending medical school at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee.

Talisa successfully completed the PGY1 residency program.  She joined the healthcare team at D’Youville College School of Pharmacy in Buffalo, New York as an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice.

After successfully completing the PGY1 residency program, Wintana accepted a position at Florida Hospital in Orlando, Florida as a Clinical Staff Pharmacist for the internal medicine team.

After successfully completing the PGY 1 residency, Andrea joined the TMH family as a Clinical Staff Pharmacist. She will remain active with the patient safety initiatives of the department.

After successful completion of the residency program, Laura stayed on staff as a Clinical Staff Pharmacist. She is highly active with the establishment of pharmacy services in the Emergency Center.

Edward successfully completed the PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program at TMH. Currently, he is employed with WakeMed Health and Hospitals as a Clinical Staff Pharmacist where his primary focus is establishing pharmacy services for Emergency Medicine and Infectious Diseases.

After successfully completing the PGY1 Pharmacy Residency program at TMH, Sean remained employed at TMH as a full-time Clinical Staff Pharmacist. He assisted with the start-up of Pharmacy Services in the stand-alone emergency center. Sean now practices at Capital Regional Medical Center as an Advanced Clinical Pharmacist based in the critical care units. He remains on board at TMH as a flex pharmacist.

After completing her PGY1 residency at TMH, Mary completed a PGY2 in Pediatric Medicine at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital in Tampa, FL. Mary successfully completed her PGY2 and worked as a Pediatric Critical Care Cardiologist at Arnold Palmer. Today, Mary is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of South Florida College of Pharmacy.
