Anxiety Self Assessment
Most of us experience stress and feelings of anxiety on a regular basis. Those who suffer with anxiety problems experience the "fight or flight" response in a more lasting, damaging way. Feelings caused by increased adrenaline persist long after the triggering event is over. People with anxiety concerns worry about their symptoms and often develop a "fear of fear" response.
Common symptoms associated with anxiety:
- Unreal feelings
- Mood disturbances
- Sleeping difficulties
- Fatigue and restlessness
- General loss of self-confidence
- Absentminded or Indecisive
- Nagging doubts and fears
If you are experiencing any of the above symptoms and they last for two weeks or more, contact your healthcare professional or EAP at 850-431-5190.
