Our affiliation with Wolfson Children’s Hospital of Jacksonville means access to board certified pediatric emergency medicine physicians and resources of one of the nation’s top-ranked children’s hospitals.

Know When to Go

High Fever

  • Younger than 3 months with temperature of 100.4°F or higher
  • Fever rises above 104°F repeatedly for a child of any age

Trouble Breathing

  • Labored breathing
  • Severe asthma attack
  • Possible pneumonia

Cuts or Burns

  • Bleeding that won’t stop
  • Severe burns

Stomach Pain

  • Severe stomach pain
  • Continuous cramping

Broken Bone

  • Injured area is bent or bleeding
  • Existing cast is soiled or wet

Head Injury

  • Severe headache or migraine
  • Head injury with loss of consciousness

Poisoning or Swallowed Object

  • Ingestion of chemical substance
  • Ingestion of small object


  • Any scale of seizure
