Heart attack treatment varies depending on the situation. You may be treated with medications, undergo an invasive procedure or both, depending on the severity of your condition.

Call 911 Immediately
The most important thing you can do if you think you are having heart attack symptoms is to call 911 immediately and tell them you are experiencing heart attack symptoms. They will send an ambulance to transport you to a hospital emergency room as quickly as possible so a doctor can examine and treat you.
Take a Full Strength Aspirin
You can prevent further blood clotting by crushing or chewing a full-strength aspirin (swallow with a glass of water).
