Omega 3’s & Heart Health

Join Clinical Dietitian Jenna Berkheimer and Executive Chef Russell Pancamo for a nutrition chat about Omega-3’s and live cooking demonstration. Attendees will learn about Omega-3 fatty acids and how they play a role in heart health. They will also get to sample a nutritious, delicious and Omega-3-rich salmon recipe!

Heart to Heart CPR & Wellness Fair

Time: 9 a.m - 1 p.m.
CPR training for Women and their families from 10 a.m. - Noon (Check-in starts at 9 a.m.)
Location: Donald L. Tucker Civic Center

Join the Tallahassee Memorial Heart & Vascular Center to jump start your family's heart health in 2014 at the Heart to Heart CPR & Wellness Fair! Activities will focus on easy ways for the entire family to be heart healthy while having fun and include: a DJ booth with music and dancing, a heart-health obstacle course, a basketball shoot-out, free CPR training, and the chance to walk through an exhibit-size heart to learn more about one of your body's most important muscles! There will even be a special appearance by Leon the talking ambulance!

The free CPR training will take place from 10 a.m. to Noon and is limited to the first 380 participants. Register today to reserve your spot! Please note that this course is not valid for CPR certification.
