Submitting to the IRB
All research documents need to be submitted through Iris, the TMH IRB’s web-based submission program. The link for Iris is:

If you are associated with any existing study, you will be able to set up a sign on. Your user ID will be your first initial and last name; and your initial password is (Default), which will prompt you to set up a permanent password.
If you are a new researcher, please contact the IRB office (850 431 5676) and the staff will register you into the system which allows you to set up your sign on. Your user ID will be your first initial and last name; and your initial password is (Default), which will prompt you to set up a permanent password.
The study application is not complete without documented training of all study associates involved in human subjects’ research, their tissue or data. This training can be though either CITI or the NIH and must not be more than three years old. There is a fee associated with the CITI training but the NIH training does not have a charge. The Sandbox works like the real Iris program; however, the research does not get processed or reviewed. It is available to you to learn how to use Iris and practice in a “test” environment. The registration process is the same but you access the Sandbox through a different link:
