U.S. News & World Report Names TMH Among Best Hospitals in Florida

Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH) has once again been recognized as a Best Hospital for 2021-22 by U.S. News & World Report.

The annual Best Hospitals rankings and ratings, now in their 32nd year, are designed to assist patients and their doctors in making informed decisions about where to receive care for challenging health conditions or for common elective procedures. For the 2021-22 rankings and ratings, U.S. News evaluated more than 4,750 medical centers nationwide in 17 procedures and conditions. Fewer than a third of all hospitals receive any high-performing ratings. TMH earned six “High Performing” ratings in COPD, Diabetes, Heart Attack, Heart Failure, Kidney Failure and Stroke care.

The U.S. News Procedures & Conditions methodology is based entirely on objective measures of quality such as risk-adjusted outcome rates, volume, quality of nursing and other care-related indicators.
