A dentist and mother's guide for caring for baby teeth from birth through childhood and beyond

Join Dr. Astrid Gonzalez, dentist and mother of 2 under 2, as she teaches you everything you need to know about children's oral health. In addition to learning how to care for your little one's teeth at each stage of development, she will review recommendations on starting solid foods, and important concepts in establishing healthy sleeping and eating schedules. Dr. Astrid will discuss pacifier use and finger-sucking, dispel common myths, and offer her insights on parent's most frequent concerns. 

 Course objectives:

1. Basic Dental Anatomy
2. Dental Decay and Early Childhood Caries (ECC)
3. Cleaning baby’s teeth and teething
4. Starting solid foods
5. Pacifier and Finger Sucking
6. Tongue Ties and frenectomies
7. Common childhood oral conditions
8. Common Myths and parent concerns and injuries
