The TMH ukulele choir is a free ukulele group open to all members of the community. Join our group if you want to learn to play the ukulele or to add new songs to your ukulele repertoire!The TMH Ukulele Choir is a free ukulele group for all members of the community. Join our group if you want to learn to play the ukulele or to add new songs to your ukulele repertoire! No prior musical experience is needed to join. If you don't own a ukulele, we can provide one for you to use while at TMH. Meetings take place every other Thursday from 4:30PM - 6:00PM. No registration required! The breakdown of the time is listed below:
Beginner Time Slot | 4:30PM - 5:00PM
Repertoire Class | 5:00PM - 6:00PM
Need to learn the basics? Come join us from 4:30PM - 5:00PM for our beginner focused time slot. We will cover the basics of playing, including how to hold and strum your ukulele, how to play "need to know" chords, and go over strumming basics.
Familiar with the ukulele and want more of a challenge? From 5:00PM - 6:00PM we will hold our standard repertoire class. This time slot focuses on how to play our selected music (rotated approx. twice per year) and learning more advanced chords, techniques, and strum patterns.
