Obstetric Emergency Department

If you experience a medical complication when you are at least at least 14 weeks into pregnancy or up to 12 weeks postpartum, we encourage you to visit the Obstetric Emergency Department within the Women’s Pavilion for care. Visitors may have up to one support person per patient.

Arriving at the Obstetric Emergency Department

The Obstetric Emergency Department is located on the second floor of the Alexander D. Brickler, MD Women's Pavilion at TMH's Main Campus, 1300 Miccosukee Road. To arrive at the OB Emergency Department, please follow the directions below:

• When arriving from Medical Drive, enter the P5 parking garage and follow the red Emergency signs.
• Continue straight up the ramp after entering the garage.
• At the top of the ramp, turn right toward the Women’s Pavilion.
• You may be dropped off under the overhang. Enter the Women’s Pavilion on the first floor and check in with security.
• Take the elevator to the second floor.
• After exiting the elevator, follow the signs to the OB Emergency Department and check in at the desk.
