TMH Physician Partners - Surgical Oncology is the only Surgical Oncology practice in this region. Surgical oncology is a specialty that focuses on the surgical treatment of a variety of tumors, the most common being breast cancer, colorectal cancer, melanoma and endocrine tumors.

Surgical oncologists are trained in all aspects of cancer care so treatment recommendations are based on the latest advances in surgery, chemotherapy and radiation. We are able to manage complex procedures such as those required to surgically treat pancreatic, primary liver, metastatic liver, esophageal, rectal and gastric malignancies.

We work closely with medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, and other medical specialties to ensure patients receive the best care possible. This coordinated team approach has been proven to be a tremendous benefit to the patient and when housed in a single facility provides a level of convenience unmatched in the region.

Surgical procedures unique to TMH Physician Partners - Surgical Oncology include the standard procedures used to surgically treat most solid organ malignancies in the head and neck and abdominal regions along with any malignancies of the alimentary tract.
