TMH Leads in Clinical Excellence in Patient Satisfaction and Wound Healing Rates

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (April 7, 2025) – Physicians, leaders and clinicians at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH) proudly announce that the Tallahassee Memorial Wound Healing Center has been awarded the prestigious Center of Distinction award by Healogics®, the nation’s largest provider of advanced wound care services. This distinguished honor reflects the Center’s exceptional clinical outcomes over a twelve-month period, including a patient satisfaction rate exceeding 92 percent.

"This recognition underscores our commitment to providing the highest level of wound care for our community," said Daniel Cavallo, Assistant Vice President, Service Lines & Allied Health. "Our team works tirelessly to ensure that every patient receives personalized, evidence-based treatment that promotes healing and improves quality of life."

As the largest clinic in Leon County devoted solely to advanced wound management, the Tallahassee Memorial Wound Healing Center provides expert care through a partnership with Healogics. The Center specializes in treating acute, chronic and non-healing wounds, including diabetic foot ulcers, pressure ulcers, infections and wounds complicated by poor circulation.

Patients at the Wound Healing Center benefit from state-of-the-art treatment modalities such as negative pressure wound therapy, total contact casting, bio-engineered tissues, biosynthetic dressings and growth factor therapies. The Center also offers hyperbaric oxygen therapy, an innovative treatment that enhances wound healing by surrounding the patient with 100 percent oxygen, promoting faster tissue repair.

“Our dedicated team is honored to receive this recognition for clinical excellence,” said Natalie Adams, Program Director of the Wound Healing Center. “We take great pride in providing comprehensive, compassionate care that makes a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.”

The Tallahassee Memorial Wound Healing Center is part of the Healogics network of over 600 Wound Care Centers® nationwide, continuing its mission to improve healing rates and patient outcomes.
