Dr. Bernabe is a kind doctor, but I understand why he wants me to put emphasis on cardiology meds, however, I've seen 3 other orthopedic doctors to find "why" severe neck-shoulder pain & headacheswe are making progress, so I wanted my primary doctor to have that knowledge.
We love Dr Bernabe and I always request him

Dr. Bernabe was wonderful as always. He addressed all of the concerns on my list, was very sympathetic when I told him my cat had died; asked me if I would like to talk to a therapist. Did x-rays on my back and suggested physical therapy. Ordered all of my medications, encouraged me to get all of my vaccines that are due, ordered bloodwork, gave me lab slip for mammogram, and checked to make sure my colonoscopy and sleep study appointments were still scheduled. As usual he took his time with my appointment.
Most of my family go to him and all I have heard is what a wonderful doctor he is.
The most time a Dr. Has ever spent with me, Dr Bernabe was very concerned with my care and listened to every thing I said. Very smart, kind ,doctor.
Dr. Bernabe is a wonderful physician. Approachable, knowledgeable, and kind. He always seems like he's got plenty of time for me, and I'm sure he's very busy. He's a real asset to TMH.

Dr Bernabe is not very personable. He doesn't recall why you're there or what you've discussed previously. He reads his notes in the room before talking to you (he could read them before entering and *look* like he remembers you).

Dr. Bernabe always explains to me what's going on, why he thinks a certain treatment is best. He keeps me well informed about my options for treatment. By far my favorite doctor I've ever had.
I think Dr. Bernabe is a wonderfully, kind, compassionate, and caring doctor. He listens, makes appropriate referrals, has a very nice bedside manner and makes you feel comfortable in his presence. He is one of the best doctors I have ever had.
