About Me
Dr. David Powers attended medical school at Florida State University College of Medicine here in Tallahassee, Florida. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Powers is passionate about preventing disease before it occurs. Although not all illnesses are preventable, he believes the most efficient way to improve the health of our community is through early communication, education, and action.
He currently practices at Southern Medical Group, P.A., and holds privileges at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare.
In his free time, Dr. Powers enjoys spending time with his wife and children, fishing in the Gulf, and playing golf and basketball.
