Jarrod C. Robertson, MD

Jarrod Robertson, MD, is a colon and rectal surgeon at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare, specializing in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of conditions affecting the colon, rectum and anus.

Dr. Robertson earned his medical degree from the Florida State University College of Medicine in Tallahassee after graduating summa cum laude from Florida State University with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science and a minor in chemistry. He completed his general surgery residency at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia, where he served as administrative chief resident. He then completed a fellowship in colon and rectal surgery at Orlando Health.

Throughout his training, Dr. Robertson received several honors for his leadership and commitment to medical education, including the Carl Boyd Chief Resident Award, two Resident Teaching Awards and Intern of the Year. He is also a member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society.

Dr. Robertson has contributed to research on colorectal and robotic surgery, including the surgical management of ulcerative colitis and robotic surgical techniques. He is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons, American College of Surgeons and Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons.

A graduate of both Florida State University and the FSU College of Medicine, Dr. Robertson returned to Tallahassee in 2023 to care for patients in the community where he began his medical training.

To be designated a “Surgeon of Excellence,” Dr. Robertson has demonstrated excellence and high standards in robotic and minimally invasive surgery, including surgical experience, volume, outcomes and adherence to best practices.
