About Me

Jill Hanks received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Florida Gulf Coast University. She then completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Florida State University.

Ms. Hanks is a Certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN-C) with the State of Florida. She assists Dr. Iyer in Internal Medicine.

Jill’s favorite part of her job is engaging with her patients and helping people meet their health goals. She gets to learn something new every day and finds that very exciting!

Jill’s background is in cardiac nursing and worked in hospice care for a few years. In addition to working as a nurse practitioner, she also teaches nursing and often has nurse practitioner students.

When she’s not at work, she likes to read, spend time with her two kids and husband. She and her family like to travel, go on trail rides, and relax on their boat.
