About Me
Dr. Joseph Mazziotta joined the faculty in 1999. He graduated as Chief Resident from the Tallahassee Memorial Family Medicine Residency Program in 1995. After graduation, he served in the Air Force for four years where he was twice deployed to the Middle East. He is interested in procedures including skin surgery, point of care ultrasound, thoracentesis and vasectomies. He also has particular interest in smoking cessation, wound care, international medicine and disaster management, and is certified in HIV medicine. Dr. Mazziotta was named Program Director in 2015. He and his wife, Danielle, have three children, Jake, McKenzie and Ellie. When not working you can find him out on the lake with his favorite dog, Prudence.
