About Me
Lauren Thompson, DO, is a fellowship-trained trauma surgeon with TMH Physician Partners – General Surgery, specializing in trauma surgery, acute care surgery and surgical critical care.
Dr. Thompson earned her medical degree from the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her general surgery residency at Florida Atlantic University. She then completed a fellowship in surgical critical care at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
Dr. Thompson’s experience includes trauma and emergency general surgery, surgical critical care and research focused on improving outcomes for patients with traumatic injuries.
