About Me
Dr. Mital attended Medical School in London at University College Medical School, where he earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degrees. He then completed an Internal Medicine Residency Program at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In addition, he completed his Cardiology Fellowship at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, Illinois.
His certifications include the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine. He currently practices at Southern Medical Group, P.A., and holds privileges at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare.
Dr. Mital enjoys traditional primary care with the emphasis on developing a long-term relationship with his patients, backed by the evidence-based use of cutting-edge technology for both early disease detection and treatment. He also takes pride in training the next generation of physicians and physician assistants at the FSU College of Medicine.
When he’s not at work he enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and (unfortunately, infrequently) playing golf.
