About Me
Thomas Zeyl, MD, is a board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare. He serves as the Medical Director of cardiothoracic surgery with special interests in adult cardiac surgery, including coronary bypass, valvular surgery with minimally invasive approaches, and treatment of aortic diseases.
Dr. Zeyl is a helper at heart, drawn to cardiac surgery because it allows him to combine his passion for helping others with his fascination for the intricacies of the heart. Dr. Zeyl earned his medical degree from the Medical University of the Americas and completed his general surgery residency at St Elizabeth Health Center, where he served as chief resident. He continued his training with a thoracic surgery residency at the University of Florida, serving as administrative chief resident.
He is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery.
