Vincent Thomas Van Berkum, MD

Vincent Van Berkum, MD, joined TMH Physician Partners – Primary Care in Panama City Beach in 2025. He earned his medical degree from the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa, recently ranked number one in Florida by U.S. News & World Report. During his training at the USF/MPM Family Medicine Residency in Clearwater he discovered his passion for family medicine and comprehensive patient care.

Dr. Van Berkum provides high-quality primary and preventive care to adolescents and adults of all ages. He treats a variety of conditions including high blood pressure, high cholesterol and diabetes with a focus on helping patients stay healthy through preventive care and practical lifestyle guidance.

A Panama City Beach native, Dr. Van Berkum chose TMH to return to his hometown and provide excellent care to its vibrant community. He is excited to contribute to TMH’s growth in the area and support its mission to expand much-needed healthcare services along the Gulf Coast.

Outside of medicine Dr. Van Berkum enjoys spending time with his family, performing music, exploring new restaurants and visiting Florida’s beautiful landmarks including the beach.
