Meet Our Spiritual Care Team

Wendy Jane Wyche, MDIV, BCC,
Director, Spiritual Care 
Director of CPE
Jenny has served over 30 years as a Board-Certified Chaplain and over 25 years as an ACPE Certified Educator.  She is ordained and endorsed by the United Methodist Church (Texas Annual Conference), and has served in hospital ministry in Texas, New Mexico, Colorado and now in Florida (since 2017).

Danny Whitfield, M. Div., BCC 
Danny’s first career was as a distinguished educator in the Tallahassee Public School system.  As an ordained minister for over 25 years in the Missionary Baptist Church, Danny served as Music Minister and now as a staff chaplain at TMH (since 2018).

Leigh Vander Meer, M. Div., BCC 
Leigh is an ordained Episcopal priest and Board-Certified Chaplain. Leigh’s ministry in the local church has centered on pastoral care, conflict mediation, leadership development and spirituality. Leigh has been a TMH staff chaplain since 2018.

Ron Johnson, M. Div., BCC 
Ron is an ordained non-denominational chaplain.  He has over 15 years of pastoral experience, first as a pastor of a Non-Denominational church in Kentucky and now as a staff chaplain at TMH.  He has been at TMH since 2020.  He is in the process of becoming Board Certified by the Association of Professional Chaplains.

Andrae Lamar Ransom, M. Div., BCC 
Andrae (who likes to be called “Ransom”) is an ordained non-denominational minister, who is board certified with the Spiritual Care Association.  He is a native of Florida.  Ransom is the TMH evening chaplain.

Cecilia Hurley, M. Div., BCC 
Cecilia is an ordained and endorsed minister in the Federation of Christian Ministries, and a native of South Georgia. She completed 2 CPE Residencies and has two years of hospice chaplaincy experience. Cecilia has been employed as a TMH Chaplain since 2022 and is currently the TMH Night Chaplain.
