Katherine BassKatherine Bass, PharmD

Dr. Katherine Bass, from Tallahassee, Florida, received her Associates of Arts degree from Santa Fe Community College, Gainesville, Florida in 2004. In 2011 she graduated with her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Florida College of Pharmacy, Gainesville, Florida. She has worked with CVS Pharmacy for many years where her latest position was Pharmacy Manager. Desiring to be more clinical and transition into hospital pharmacy, Dr. Bass decided to pursue a residency. After completing the PGY1 Dr. Bass will pursue board certification in pharmacotherapy. She will utilize this time during the residency to determine what area of pharmacy she wishes to specialize. Her interests include oncology, critical care and administration.

Anna Menendez PharmDAnna Menendez, PharmD

Dr. Anna Menendez, originally from Parkland, Florida, received her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from Florida State University in 2016. Dr. Menendez earned her Doctor of Pharmacy from University of Florida College of Pharmacy, Gainesville, Florida in 2020. As a pharmacy student she was a member of FSHP and APhA-ASP. Dr. Menendez held many leadership roles throughout her college career. Her interests include critical care, emergency medicine and medication safety. Dr. Menendez is considering a PGY2 after the completion of the PGY1 in addition to becoming board certified.

Lisette Menendez PharmDLisette Menendez, PharmD

Dr. Lisette Menendez is from Parkland, Florida. In 2016 she graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Florida College of Pharmacy, Gainesville, Florida in 2020. As a pharmacy student, Dr. Menendez was a member of APhA-ASP and FSHP. She held numerous leadership positions during college. Dr. Menendez interests include critical care, emergency medicine and medication safety. After completing the residency, she will pursue board certification in critical care.

2019 - 2020 Pharmacy Residents

After successful completion of the residency, Dr. Julia Nash accepted a clinical pharmacist position at Miami Cancer Institute/Baptist Health in Miami, Florida.

JasminTawficPharmDJasmin Tawfic, PharmD

Dr. Jasmin Tawfic successfully completed the residency and will be moving to Gainesville, Florida where she accepted a position as a clinical staff pharmacist at UF Health.
