Behavioral Health Outpatient Services

It can be hard to ask for help with mental health challenges or emotional trauma. Our dedicated outpatient mental health team is ready to listen and help you manage your mental condition, whether you’re just beginning treatment or transitioning to a different level of care.

Our Services

We offer specialized programs for adults (age 18 and older) and children and adolescents (ages 5-17) managing acute mental health disorders or co-occurring mental health disorders with substance use. Services help participants reduce problematic symptoms, improve quality of life and transition back into the community on a regular routine.

Outpatient treatment is customized to fit the needs and goals of individuals seeking to address mental health concerns. The length of services and frequency of appointments are determined by the level of support needed. We offer a range of treatment programs, from traditional to more intensive, based on the level of need.

We provide therapy for:

  • Mental Health Disorders
  • Acute and Chronic Substance Use Disorders
  • Trauma/Stress
  • Self-Injurious Behaviors
  • Child/Adolescent

Traditional Outpatient Treatment

Our traditional treatment program incorporates the services of psychiatrists, registered nurses and licensed clinicians who provide evaluation, psychoeducation and therapy. It is designed to monitor and adjust medications for psychiatric illnesses and improve the patient’s capacity to cope with demands of daily living.

Program components include:

  • Psychiatric evaluation
  • Consultation
  • Medication management
  • Individual and family therapy, including but not limited to:
    o    Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
    o    Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
o    Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

Intensive Services

Partial Hospital Program

This program is a concentrated level of mental health services for adults. This is a short-term, intensive day treatment program (typically two to four weeks) designed for individuals with a variety of psychiatric symptoms.

As a step down or an alternative to inpatient hospitalization, the program provides comprehensive evaluation, treatment and aftercare planning. Treatment is group-based. Participants receive medication management, individual therapy, family therapy and group therapy to help manage symptoms and enhance day-to-day functioning. Treatment is provided in the community and occurs five days a week for five hours a day

Intensive Outpatient Program

The Intensive Outpatient Program is ideal for participants ready to step down from the Partial Hospital Program or for those who need to step up from traditional outpatient services. Program services are similar to the Partial Hospital Program but are designed for individuals with more moderate psychiatric symptoms. Treatment is provided in the community and occurs three days a week for three hours a day.

Services provided through the Partial Hospital Program and Intensive Outpatient Program include:

  •  Confidential and comprehensive mental health evaluations and assessments
  • Individual, family and group therapy, including but not limited to:
    o    Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
    o    Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
o    Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
    o    Mindfulness
  • Medication management
  • Post treatment planning and care coordination
