There are five major categories of gynecologic cancer, each with their own set of signs and symptoms. Understanding these types of cancer and knowing the different signs could help you seek lifesaving treatment before the cancer reaches advanced stages.

Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare offers comprehensive, collaborative and compassionate care for all gynecologic cancers. Our team of board-certified gynecologic oncologists and other cancer providers at the Tallahassee Memorial Cancer Center specialize in complex surgery, chemotherapy, radiation and other advanced treatments for women with gynecologic cancers and pre-cancers, including ovarian, endometrial, cervical, vaginal, vulvar and uterine sarcoma cancers.
Two Board-Certified Gynecologic Oncologists
There are only about 1,500 gynecologic oncologists in the United States. Two of them are right here at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare, providing specialized care for patients throughout the Big Bend region.
