Practice Expands Interventional and Structural Cardiology Care

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2025) – TMH Physician Partners – Services by Southern Medical Group – Cardiology is pleased to welcome Thaer Musa, MD. Dr. Musa brings extensive expertise in interventional and structural cardiology to the Tallahassee community.

Dr. Musa earned his Doctor of Medicine from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Kentucky in Lexington and then served as Chief Resident for one year at the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga, After residency, he completed a fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology at the University of Florida in Jacksonville, followed by a Structural Cardiology Fellowship at Duke University Hospital in Durham, North Carolina.

Along with being board-certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Musa also holds accreditation from the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology.

Dr. Musa is passionate about helping patients understand their diagnoses and working together to create management plans that improve quality of life. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys spending time with his wife, traveling, cooking and taking outdoor strolls.
