Individualized Treatment Options
If you or a loved one has been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, essential tremor, dystonia, Huntington’s disease, or atypical Parkinsonism, our specialists will create a care plan tailored to your specific needs and goals.
Treatment options may include:
- Ongoing neurological evaluation and medication management
- Nutrition and exercise recommendations
- Comprehensive therapies (physical, occupational and speech therapy)
- Medication optimization and lifestyle strategies
- Neuropsychological evaluation
- Skin biopsies for alpha-synucleinopathies
- Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) evaluation and surgical coordination
- Access to patient and caregiver support resources
Our multidisciplinary approach allows our team to collaborate closely on your treatment plan, ensuring coordinated, patient-centered neurological care.
Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS)
When medications are no longer effectively managing symptoms, Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) may be an option.
DBS is a minimally invasive surgical procedure that delivers continuous electrical stimulation to targeted areas of the brain responsible for abnormal movement signals. It is used to relieve symptoms of:
- Parkinson’s disease
- Essential tremor
- Dystonia
- Epilepsy
Our multidisciplinary movement disorders team conducts a comprehensive evaluation to determine candidacy for DBS. This includes neurological assessment, neuropsychological testing and coordinated surgical planning.
Our program provides full-spectrum care — from pre-surgical evaluation and surgical coordination to long-term device programming and follow-up.
