The postgraduate year 2 (PGY-2) Emergency Medicine Pharmacy Residency at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH) in Tallahassee, Florida, offers 12 months of advanced training in a high-volume emergency care environment.
During your residency, you’ll gain experience caring for patients with a wide range of complex and high-acuity conditions. TMH serves patients throughout North Florida, South and Central Georgia and South Alabama, giving you exposure to diverse patient populations, subspecialties and a large trauma volume.

- Advocacy and leadership emphasis: A structured longitudinal advocacy experience helps you develop the skills to support pharmacy practice expansion, while leadership training prepares you for future clinical, administrative or academic roles.
- Customizable curriculum: Four emergency medicine rotations provide progressive clinical responsibility, while electives allow you to pursue interests such as pediatrics, trauma or freestanding emergency medicine.
Graduates of the TMH PGY-2 Emergency Medicine Pharmacy Residency are prepared to practice independently as emergency medicine pharmacists, pursue clinical or academic roles and work toward board certification in Emergency Medicine Pharmacy (BCEMP).
